Black Creek Flood Coalition

Gauge-level monitoring, automated neighbourhood alerts and multilingual preparedness video — staged for deployment on Toronto's most flood-exposed creek.

Black Creek residents have seen water rise faster than official alerts can reach them. The coalition proposes gauge-level monitoring tied to automated, neighbourhood-specific messages.

Short preparedness videos in multiple languages help residents know exactly what to do as thresholds are crossed.

Partnership focus: Localized flood alerts, community preparedness, resident coordination and verified risk intelligence.
