Within the Congo Basin, AlerteUnité has mapped 130+ community water assets and is launching a flood preparedness proof of concept supported through AWS PREDICTif. The initiative combines community intelligence, machine learning, and the Google Flood pilot to strengthen community-level early warning and risk visibility.

Grand'Anse is one of Haiti's most hurricane-exposed regions and has repeatedly experienced some of the country's most devastating storm impacts. Building on FCH-Espwa's network of community safe shelters, AlerteUnité is deploying a resilient mesh communications to strengthen coordination when conventional telecommunications fail.
